Run it across whatever is currently on your AI candidate list. Fair warning: most candidates fail question one. That's the point of question one.

Is intelligence the bottleneck?Or is it data, integration or process wearing an AI costume?

Is the data available?Not "does it exist" — can it be reached, in time, with an owner who can say yes.

What needs deterministic software instead?Bad answer: nobody has separated the rules from the judgement, so the whole process is being priced as AI.

How hard is the integration, honestly?Bad answer: the output lands in a spreadsheet that someone re-keys into the system of record.

Will the people doing the work trust it?Bad answer: adoption is listed as a change-management workstream starting after build.

Scoring: five yeses is rare. Three or fewer and it isn't an AI opportunity yet — which is a seven-figure initiative you didn't start.
